Suzuki in Spring: October 23-24, 2010

“Music is for Life”

You are invited to the 8th Suzuki in Spring for the Sunshine Coast. Traditionally held at the Montessori International College, directly opposite the University of the Sunshine Coast, this event is a musical milestone in the year. It includes guitarists, pianists and violinists and regularly draws Australia's finest Suzuki teachers together for a weekend of musical inspiration and joy. No one is too young, too old or too inexperienced to benefit from this weekend.

Early Bird enrollment closes September 17 - $100

Regular enrollment closes October 1 - $120

Late enrollments after this date - $135

• Guitar teacher Zeah Riordan from Melbourne - Zeah's studio
• Guitar teacher Marcus Bussey from the Sunshine Coast (Yes that's me!)
• Violin teacher Haruo Goto from Sydney
• Violin teacher John Mitchell from the Gold Coast
• Piano teacher Itsuko Bara from Sydney
• Piano Teacher Zohara Rotem from the Sunshine Coast - Zohara's studio
• Musical Extension for both days is provided by Sam Okuth - great African drumming for all ages!
• Parent talks will be given by Zeah Riordan and Zohara Rotem ( this is a wonderful chance for parents to get a deeper understanding of the Suzuki music approach)
• Afternoon concerts end each day
