He will supply you with a fee schedule and possible lesson times. As a rule the following conditions apply for enrolment to be approved:
- Parents commit to learning the instrument with their child
- Parents commit to attending all lessons with their child to practicing together at home on a daily basis
- Parents attend at least four classes before their child starts lessons
- Parents play regularly the listening CD to their child from the moment adult lessons begin
- Parents read Nurtured By Love by Dr Suzuki before starting lessons
- Parents agree to attend Suzuki musical events to the best of their ability
- The first term is probationary, if after this time the parent and child are happy to continue with lessons and the teacher is satisfied that a solid foundation for the future has been laid, then the family join the Suzuki Music Association Queensland Membership Application 2010
- Fees are paid promptly within two weeks of the teaching term
- Parents also commit to playing upon the best instruments they can afford – Yamaha instruments are of a consistent quality and well within the average budget. Once learning is established the parents under the guidance of their teacher can source high quality musical instruments to play up
